After being placed on trial and found guilty, Jason Macendale, the second Hobgoblin, goes public with the knowledge that Ned Leeds was the original Hobgoblin! Hoping to protect Betty Brant-Leeds, an invesigation begins into her late husband's affairs, revealing that he couldn't have been the original Hobgoblin! It is then that unexpectedly the original Hobgoblin resurfaces, and he isn't happy with Jason Macendale for blowing his cover!
