Conan agrees to slay Groo, as Groo’s legend grows more and more fearsome by word-of-mouth. In a park (and just barely in an opened-ended hospital gown), Sergio falls from a tree, bringing about a delusion that he is Conan. There, Sergio is fed and accepted by a group of homeless people. En route to slay the mighty Groo, Conan meets Groo and, not knowing who he is, befriends him. Groo and Conan arrive at the town, where a rumor-mongering peasant tells a gathering at the inn of the great battle between Conan and Groo – where Conan slays Groo.
