The history of the second war in Heaven is revealed to Cremator. He learns that the Trinity of Evil, the mad angel Apolyn, the civil war, and Pagan are four simultaneous threats to Hell. If Hell is destroyed, creation becomes unbalanced and the universe plunges into chaos. Cremator accepts the role of Guardian of Hell and heads into battle against Asteroth with new weapon, the Spear of Destiny.
